Hi, my name is Beau Tardy and I am President and Founder of Dizzy®.
As a kid I loved TV (mostly the cartoons). Fortunately for me, my father had a TV show and was Director of Promotions at the local NBC affiliate. TV and electronic communications run in my family. Before WWII My grandfather laid cable for the French government.
I've been in the TV & video business for over 30 years. I cut my teeth doing News Graphics for local TV stations before getting a job in New York at the prestigious MTV On-Air Graphics Department, during the heyday of the early '90s.
In 1997 I created Dizzy® to provide creative video and design services for MTV Networks, VH1, Nickelodeon and many other cable stations. Dizzy® went on to help launch MTV2, MTV Asia and branched out internationally to do work for Channel 7 Australia, Global Japan, McCann Erikson Hong-Kong and MTV Europe and many corporate and commercial clients in between, including Reebok, Travelers Insurance Group, Ableton Inc., Grey Advertising, D.D.B. and J. Walter Thompson.
As an innovative and ground breaking video design company we were the first to create an all digital video ad campaign for MTV2 shot on 4 continents. We were the first to use Motion Capture Computer Graphics in an MTV ad. We have won many awards including BDA Promax, Telly and Communicator Awards.
We also produced a trail blazing TV show on Manhattan Public Access called TV with Ray Cathode (later renamed DizzyTV).
Today Dizzy Worldwide Corp. is an award winning TV production company focused on TV programming, channel rebrands, show development and post-production.
